Two things at the top
First Off (Fist Off, heh) The comments section on the review is broken -- so I am typing this into my word processor, and it will obviously (while well-edited) get too long and therefore never be posted (and if it do, then I apologize for the length and offer this rational as explanation (or v versa).
Secondly and more amusingly (try for brevity), when the final episode of BSG aired, I was so riled up that I decided to invade the SciFi Channel boards (which Moore and his visited regularly at the time) and start throwing bombs all over the place, but the server melted down (wonder why) and (long story short) I never went back (although I still have 50 pages of other people freaking out sitting on my Hdrive). Cut to years later when the topic comes up on Pajiba (which I read but don't comment) and I decide to ask some questions and offer some thoughts and the comments section malfunctions again. So I ask myself, is the CylonOneGod fucking with me or is that just a really weird coincidence.
Third -- and I'm probably the only person to be amused by this, but -- Moore seems to have a problem with timelines: if I recall correctly, 150K years wasn't enough time for some of the processes he put into the final, and now 60 years isn't enough time for things to develop between the two shows (lists supplied upon request, but anyone who cares can prob write their own list) -- and now here we are and the comments section on this page seem to have been infected with MooreTimeitis -- all the posts were written six to eight months ago.
See, that doesn't equal crazy on a WP, but it looks like all kinds of crazy here.
Anyway, can anyone point me to an erudite conversation attempting to reconcile all the things that (allegedly) went wacky in the BSG finalé? I don't suppose some internet genius cut his or her own version of the finalé ala The Phantom Edit? That would be pretty cool, wouldn't it?
Sorry for the length, but Pajiba does seem to host a large number of BSGers. And did you do a writeup for The Plan, Steven -- cause if you did (or didn't) I would love to see what you have to say about it.
